What to Expect
The early church was devoted to the apostles' teaching that Jesus is the Living Word. The best way to know the Living Word is through the written Word. That's why we teach the Bible verse-by-very, chapter-by-chapter. There is no other spiritual food by which we can grow.
We live in a culture of church hopping and church shopping. We have fallen prey to a culture of consumerism. The church is the Bride of Christ. The local church is God's ordained embassy in this dark world.
It's not meant to be a ritual or ceremony; it's communion with the Living God. It's fellowship with Him. Prayer is all about walking with God. That's why we encourage a culture of prayer.
As a church we either evangelise or fosselize. As God's people grow, they become fruitful. Healthy sheep produce healthy sheep. We seek to be a Great Commission church that makes disciples both here in London and all around the world.
"The breaking of bread" is far more than communion. It is a focus on Jesus. Everything in the Bible relates to Jesus. He is the image of the invisible God. As we grow, we truly become "Jesus people."
